PASIGHAT, Nov 25: The DDHS Dr. Kabang Lego launched a seminar on Cancer update program for doctors on multimodality approach to cancer on Thursday, Nov 25 last at the General Hospital, Pasighat in collaboration with the Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati, Assam, sponsored by the DoNER.

Paying homage Dr. Lego informed BBCI commemorates the legendry Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah who was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam and the efforts of the institution are praiseworthy.

Addressing the participating doctors, Lego said the seminar was basically a Cancer update program for the learned doctors throwing some lights over various strategies for a healthier Pasighat. He said Cancer surgery has grown beyond single minded focus on cure. Today, saving organs and function is as important as cure. The medical science had progressed to tremendous heights and thus the cure of cancer and other diseases become easier and possible, Lego stated.

The DMO Dr. T. Taloh and Medical Supdt. Dr. O. Moyong were also present in the seminar, while all the doctors of GH Pasighat attended to update their skills and during the interactive session exchanged views and experiences. Wait for another news.
