Follow the ideals of "The Lady with the Lamp" said the statehealth minister Tanga Byaling today on the occasion of Capping Ceremony of 41stbatches of ANM trainees of Training & Research Centre Pasighat, held at thehospital Audio-Visual Auditorium. All together sixty-six trainees were cappedand took oath. The Chief Guest Byaling on the occasion said that nursing is oneof the important aspects of Health care services and trainees should extendtheir best services to the society and the needy patients in particular. Headvised the trainees to maintain dignity saying that people always rewardthose, who serve the society with dedication, sincerity discipline.
While congratulating the Jt. Director Health Services (T&R), Pasighat Dr.Kabang Lego and his team of doctors and staffs for achieving ISO Certification,the minister commented that the Pasighat General Hospital was the best in thestate and known for its cleanliness and esteemed services. Stating doctors aregods on earth Byaling appealed them to maintain same tempo and sincerity indelivering services to humanity. He suggested to take care of infrastructuraldevelopment on priority instead of equipment upgradation. The ministerappreciating the hospital authorities said they could utilize all developmentalfunds judiciously and assured to extend his helps as health minister forbetterment of the hospital in future too. The Chief Guest gave away acommendation certificate to the JP Arunachal Power ltd on the occasion.Earlier,the Centenary-Gate (approach of GH), constructed by the JP Arunachal Power ltdwas also inaugurated by Byaling.
The Education Minister Bosiram Siram graced the occasion as Guest of Honour andwhile congratulating the trainees for successful completion of their trainingstated they are in high demand in the state and will also be welcomed andappreciated by the people of the entire country for their noble services.Though a nurses cap is a part of uniform and profession, it bears prestige,universally recognized as a symbol of mankind and allows the patients toquickly identify in the hospitals, Siram commented.
Taking privilege on the occasion, Siram urged the youths to dream big and workhard to realize their dreams instead of taking the path of agitation and bandh calls.Siram further said that mere acquiring a degree is useless unless a persongains quality education to qualify in certain specific area.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner Onit Panyang in his brief speech stressed oncleanliness, dedication, sincerity and devotions. He said uniform gives aprofessional look and the growth of population is compelling to strengthen thenursing profession for better health care services in the country and he hopedthat the nursing institute of Pasighat should develop further so that a goodreputation can be made in the region.
Jt. Director Dr. K. Lego in his keynote address briefed the history of thehospital and Secretary (H&FW) Itanagar Kaling Tayeng and Advisor to CMNanom Jamoh also spoke on the occasion. Among others, the Director NRHM T.Tapak, SP Alok Kumar (IPS), ADC S.C. Debnath, Dr. T. Taloh (DMO), MedicalSupdt. Dr. O. Moyong and Brig. Kushal JP Arunachal Power ltd were present.
